We are an art community.

Believing in the power of collaboration and standing side-by-side, we have formed an unconfined (borderless) umbrella. Our production is decentralized, non-commercial, and open to all.

Our objectives are:

• To support our artists in their production processes.

• To create a platform where our artists can share their projects.

• To open up space where collaborations and joint works can be produced.

• To maintain an archive of the created works.

Our name comes from the word ‘galdavar,’ which defines the roofed, open-sided structures built in threshing grounds. This definition is the most beautiful and fitting way to describe the world we are building.
